Toyo Piano has two factories specializing for the restorations in Japan and Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. You can
choose a factory according to your needs and budget.Therefore, this product is only available at domestic
factories.
Japan Domestic factory (head office)
We would like to introduce our factory located in the music town of Enshu, Shizuoka Prefecture.
Toyo Piano was founded in 1947 in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, located in the center of the music-rich
Enshu region of Shizuoka Prefecture, and has its head office and factory located in the same city. Later, due
to the expansion of the surrounding roads, we moved our head office and factory to Iwata City, Shizuoka
Prefecture, located to the east of Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, where we continue to operate our
business. Utilizing the technical skills and connections we have cultivated over the 70 years in the city of
music, we not only repair pianos, but also manufacture custom-made pianos and other items, as well as sell
pianos and pianos at stores adjacent to the factory. We are involved in a wide range of piano-related
projects, including competitions.

It has been about 30 years since I joined the company, and I have been involved in the guidance of the
Vietnam Ho Chi Minh factory for about 10 years, and I am currently engaged in manufacturing while
coordinating between the head office and the Vietnam factory. In particular, as an almighty finisher, we
keep a close eye on all new, used, and repaired products. My policy is to respond wholeheartedly to the
customer’s needs, to pour all of my skills into each and every product, and to be close to the customer
even after the product is delivered.
Career
1990
Joined Toyo Piano as a research student and learned piano techniques. After that, he became a
full-time employee and worked on assembling and shipping pianos.
2004
Due to the return of his predecessor, he was replaced in Vietnam. While learning about used
pianos himself, he provides guidance to workers.
From September 2018
After returning to Japan, he is currently supervising and providing guidance for the entire
factory at the main factory, while also working on-site as an engineer on a daily basis.
Overseas factory (Vietnam)
We would like to introduce our Vietnam factory, which was established in 2005.
Toyo Piano Vietnam was established in 2005. Initially, we sent Japanese technicians and started with just a
dozen people, but now we have over 50 staff members repairing and refurbishing over 70 pianos every month. The
Vietnam factory is operated with Japanese staff and Vietnamese staff who can speak Japanese. In addition,
central control is carried out at the control center within the factory, and the final inspection of repaired
pianos is carried out thoroughly, resulting in thorough quality control and low prices due to cost reductions
such as labor costs. It has now become possible to achieve both. In 2008, we opened a showroom in the center
of Ho Chi Minh City, which has been well-received by Japanese customers stationed in Vietnam. Currently,
pianos that have been repaired and refurbished at our Vietnam factory are shipped not only to customers in
Japan but all over the world.

Hello. I am Le Buu Dien, newly joined TOYO PIANO VIETNAM. I am responsible for Production Control &
Production-Progress Management in TOYO PIANO Vietnam Factory.
Under the close cooperation with experienced staff, I am working to create the effective system, to
enforce the production schedule and to ensure delivery time and reliable product distribution service to
our customers.
I am also in charge of the final inspection after product completion. I thoroughly check product quality
to ensure that no defective items are shipped to customers. To provide customers with confidence and
satisfaction, I am committed to maintaining consistently high quality.
