Career
1990
Joined Toyo Piano as a research student to learn piano technology. Later, he became a full-time employee and worked in piano assembly and shipping.
2004
Moved to Vietnam in turn upon the return of his predecessor. He also learned to play used pianos while teaching others how to play them.
From September 2018
After returning to Japan, he now oversees and directs the entire shop at the head office shop, while also working as an engineer on site on a daily basis.
Repair Shop in Vietnam
We are pleased to introduce our Vietnam repair shop, which was established in 2005.
Toyo Piano Vietnam was established in 2005.
We started out with a dozen or so staff members, dispatched by Japanese technicians, and now have more than 50 staff members repairing and rebuilding more than 70 pianos every month.
The Vietnam repair shop is operated with Japanese and Japanese-speaking Vietnamese staff.
The shop’s centralized management center and thorough final inspection of repaired pianos have enabled us to achieve both thorough quality control (quality) and low prices (low price) by reducing labor and other costs.
In 2008, we opened a showroom in the center of Ho Chi Minh City, which has been appreciated by Japanese customers stationed in Vietnam.
Today, pianos repaired and reconditioned at the Vietnam factory are shipped not only to Japanese customers but also to all over the world.

We are in charge of production control and inspections upon receipt and shipment. We make production plans to ensure that pianos entrusted to us by our customers are completed on the promised delivery date while maintaining appropriate quality, and we constantly check and adjust the on-site situation to ensure that production is progressing as planned.
In addition, we carefully check the condition of each piano upon receipt to ensure that there is no mismatch between the customer’s desired repair work and the condition of the piano, and also conduct a final inspection of each completed piano to ensure that repairs have been carried out in accordance with the specified specifications.
